Mortal Kombat: Lin Kuei Beginnings
Chapter 2: Another Newcomer
It was over a year later after Tomas Vrbada had been dropped off at the Lin Kuei headquarters in China and the sun was just about to rise over the horizon. The young Czech assassin to be yawned and sat up rubbing one of his eyes. A bolt of pain shot through his left shoulder, biting back a yelp of pain he snapped his eyes shut, ‘The Lin Kuei show no weakness.’ He repeated over and over in his head until the pain subsided. Shaking it off he looked at his arm, it had only been a year and he’d already fractured a bone during training yesterday.
His Sifu Bao-Zhi had a couple of older trainees come ‘spar’ with them. By now Tomas was used to the rough treatment and took it as came. His friend Kuai Ling had it easier due to his vaster experience and his ice power. Tomas had better control of his ability to turn into smoke but still had trouble doing it at will and con

Chapter 1: No Weakness
Far out of the reach of the rest of China, hidden in the northern mountains was an imposing fortress, seemingly built into the mountain itself. This structure nature seemed to warn any who approached to stay away, that outsiders weren’t welcome, with the thick foreboding air that it held. Only the residents of the fortress knew of its existence and kept that secret guarded heavily. Trespassing was punishable by death and so was trying to escape the fold that lived within. Diligent archers stationed on watch towers connected to the building with expert marksmanship made sure of that.
The fortress was the headquarters of the deadly assassin clan known as the Lin Kuei, a name that translates literally into Forest Demons. Fitting for how dangerous, reclusive and feared the clan is. Chapter 30: Return of the Millennium Items

It most likely meant something they had been waiting for had arrived or that it was a gift from a relative. In this case though….with all the pain and suffering the items had brought upon the owners or the dark influence they wrought there was no reason to be happy. The group sat around the package glancing at each other to see who was the bravest to open it.
Even though Yugi had the best relationship with his item in comparison to the others one item in particular everyone wouldn’t be happy to see. The Millennium Ring. The evil object that had held a part of Zorc the Dark One. Malik himself wouldn’t be happy to see that or the Millennium Scepter, he worried about it corrupting him so
I'm Miss-DNL. You can call me DNL if you like, it's the name most people call me online as it's typically my user name. The picture above is my persona you can find more pictures of her in my "Original" folder. Sometimes she wears clothing I actually have but not often. She stands for me but she isn't me.
Overall I'm a geek rocker. I love the things I do and buy stuff (i'm a collector at heart) of it and I love rock music. I was born and raised on it. I like Predator , comics particularly the crazy hero called The Creeper~, and most recently Mortal Kombat...even though I suck at playing it. I used to be into anime but not so much anymore.
